Meet the 2023 Texas Aimbots Sentry

The sentry team started a comprehensive revision of the past three years of design work as soon as they learned of the new ruleset that required the 2023 sentry to be a ground robot. This fully autonomous robot, equipped with a double-turret shooter mechanism and advanced vision processing, possesses the capability to both evade opponents and swiftly inflict damage upon them.

Collaborating with the Hero Team, the sentry robot has adopted the same X-drive chassis into their design. This chassis was designed to be interchangeable between the Hero and Sentry Robots. This exceptional omni-wheel X-drive chassis optimizes rotational velocity while maintaining seamless translational movement.

Pulling from last year's Sentry design, the unique double-barrel turret was repurposed for this year's Sentry version.

Utilizing the same yaw module as the other two robots, the new sentry demonstrated remarkable agility and responsiveness. This impressive creation stands as the epitome of engineering excellence, boasting not only functionality but also an appealing aesthetic with its sleek and captivating Mohawk design. ^_^
